What is a Passivhaus?
Passivhaus refers to a method of constructing energy-efficient homes. It is a voluntary energy certification standard with which we achieve maximum comfort and good indoor air quality, with very low, almost zero, energy consumption.
A passive house is a type of construction designed under very high standards of energy efficiency, reducing the need for energy for heating or cooling to a minimum. This concept, originating in Germany under the name “Passivhaus”, is based on the use of available resources, such as sunlight and natural ventilation.
